Analemmatic sundial in
Torreón, Coahuila, México

The inauguration on April 26 was planned to be a children's party. Unfortunately, a dust storm kept them away, and then it began to rain. After half an hour the sun came out, however, and created a beautiful rainbow!

The wind rose, the moon crescent and several stars can be seen now. The driving force behind this project, Martha A. Villegas, is being reflected in the shiny date scale.

Three days later it was real 'inauguration weather': the sun stood strong in a cloudless sky.
