Ruurlo Castle	Vorden Castle

The Achterhoek Twins, about 9 km (5.5 mile) apart: both are situated near the road Vorden-Ruurlo, both are set in the water, both have a L-shaped ground plan, both are located just outside the village, both are now used as town hall, both have a flower bed in front of the bridge leading to the castle, in both of which an armillary sphere is placed.
